Playlist: City Nights

If you're like me, you need a playlist for every occasion; every mood. This is the playlist I use when walking through the city at night. It suits night lights & quiet streets. I like the sense of isolation you can get in a city, yet still be surrounded by people- you're never really alone but it's easy to retreat into your own space. As someone who cannot function without alone time at least once or twice a week, but who still enjoys being social, I can honestly say I was made for city life.

  1. That last sentence struck a chord with me: "As someone who cannot function without alone time at least once or twice a week, but who still enjoys being social, I can honestly say I was made for city life."

    I absolutely agree with that.
And Brick is amazing. I adore JGL.

On a different note, that velvet turban I was wearing was luckily already tied & sewed. Purchased it here: http://www.shopredvelvet.com/

And here, my sister goes over how to tie a scarf: http://www.the-loudmouth.com/2011/08/summer-scarf-101.html

    1. Ooh I love the Red Velvet girls, the stuff in their shop is always so nice but I can never afford it- sadface. Sewing one is a good idea though! I like to double wrap it & put a twist in the front of mine but it always slips off my big head (!) so maybe something elasticated would be a good idea! Also LOVE the way you tied a scarf into a little top- I'll have to try that.

And yes I LOVE Brick- the music & dialogue are SO good. One of my faves! x
